Edgar has always had an attraction to art and creative expression. He graduated from International Fine arts College in Miami, Florida (now known as the Miami International University of Art & Design). Soon after he attended the Photography and Digital Art program at Miami-Dade College to sharpen his photography skills and learn all about the new digital  trends at the time.

While working as a graphic designer and freelancing in photography, acquiring experience in areas such as fashion and photojournalism, he enrolled in a preceptorship program at the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner’s Office to train in Forensic and Bio-Medical photography.
After graduating from this exciting program he was offered a position at a local hospital as a Medical Photographer where he still works to this day documenting surgical procedures and creating images for marketing and public relations. His work has been published in countless books, publications and media outlets.
Today his photography passion also extends to travel and environmental fine art photography where he regularly exhibits and has won numerous recognitions.

Edgar has trained and studied under photography legends such as the late portrait master Monte Zucker and renowned wedding photojournalist Denis Reggie. Following  years of perfecting his wedding and portrait styles he established Edgar Estrada Photography and edgarestrada.com. His wedding photography style can be described as contemporary yet classic. He documents your special day  unobtrusively, capturing the events as the day unfolds in an artistic and stylish manner. His elegant albums and modern layout designs create a work of art that you would be proud to display.

In addition to his wedding and portrait work he keeps his calendar busy with commercial, corporate and special events assignments.
